Job description

Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, an esteemed arts institution with a global reputation seeks an administratively strong Executive Officer to join its Global Engagement team of the Strategic Development & Global Engagement Division.

Incepted in 2024, the Global Engagement team at NAFA oversees international partnerships with institutions and industries. The team coordinates and communicates NAFA’s global engagement activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

The role involves supporting the planning, execution, and documentation of projects under the Global Engagement team of the Strategic Development & Global Engagement Division. The incumbent is responsible for end-to-end liaising and logistics of a new student exchange programme, and supporting the Global Engagement Lead in the production of newsletter, webpage updates, and hosting of delegates.

You will liaise with faculties and departments on course mapping, credit transfer, and student exchange partnership agreements; disseminating information, managing applications, and coordinating nomination and acceptance with partner applications.

In addition, you will support in the production of a biannual newsletter by extracting relevant information from the organisation’s internal reports, copywriting EDM on the issue’s launch, and tracking its online analytics; support the timely updating of global engagement and partnerships webpages by reviewing, proposing, and administering changes; and support the hosting of delegates during campus visits through venue booking, booking of personnel, refreshments preparation, and documentation.

Requirements
  1. You should possess at least a Degree in Arts, Politics, International Relations, Communication, Business, Engineering, Law, or comparable fields, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  2. A strong understanding of global education or international arts will be valuable. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. Design and editorial skills will be added advantages.
  3. To succeed in this role, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), or equivalent, and comfortable with IT systems. Experience in graphic design, social media marketing, and publishing will be beneficial.
  4. You should be a collaborative team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures and complete tasks accurately and punctually, and the ability to prioritise and balance working on multiple projects. The ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders is also important.
