Roles & Responsibilities
The Marketing Communications Executive will manage ABLE’s digital marketing strategy , creating impactful online campaigns and content to raise awareness, attract donors and volunteers, and strengthen ABLE’s digital footprint. This role blends creativity, data-driven marketing, and social cause storytelling to drive measurable growth in digital reach, engagement, and conversion .
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Develop compelling journalistic narratives and storytelling around ABLE clients and caregivers, working with various mass media to promote ABLE’s mission.
- Manage ABLE’s website and digital channels, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and updated.
- Produce compelling multimedia content (posts, videos, graphics, stories) showcasing ABLE’s programmes, beneficiaries, caregivers, and community impact.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely communication.
- Responsible for the production of corporate marketing / event publicity and branding materials including but not limited to to information booklets, brochures, posters, banners, presentations and annual reports.
Social Media & Community Engagement
- Manage and grow ABLE’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
- Create interactive content (polls, reels, stories, testimonials, live sessions).
- Respond to online queries, comments, and messages in a timely and engaging manner.
- Build an online supporter community (volunteers, donors, partners, advocates).
Digital Marketing & Campaigns
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to grow ABLE’s online presence.
- Plan and run multi-channel campaigns (social media, email, SEO / SEM, paid ads, partnerships) for awareness, fundraising, and recruitment of volunteers.
- Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, click-throughs, conversion rates, and donor retention.
- Optimize campaigns with A / B testing, analytics, and performance insights.
Email Marketing & Donor Journeys
- Design and manage e-newsletters, donor impact communications, and automated email journeys.
- Segment audiences for personalized campaigns (donors, caregivers, volunteers, corporate partners).
- Track open rates, CTR, and conversions; optimize for engagement.
Analytics, Insights & Reporting
- Use tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Mailchimp, etc.) to track performance.
- Generate monthly digital reports and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, best practices, and tools.
Fundraising / Donor Support / Events
- Partner with the fundraising team to create content and creatives for digital fundraising campaigns (Giving.sg, social giving, crowdfunding platforms).
- Design digital donor engagement content (thank-you posts, impact stories, donor highlights).
- Support ABLE events (charity dinners, community outreach, donor events) onsite and with digital promotion campaigns.
- Work with internal stakeholders to support partnerships with relevant governmental agencies, various grassroots communities, corporates, and other charities to raise awareness of ABLE’s 4Rs services.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ years of relevant experience, with at least 1-2 years in digital marketing and communications.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in marketing & communications, donor relations, fundraising, or community engagement in a social service agency (preferred)
- Experience in website management, social media management, paid ads, SEO / SEM, content creation, and email marketing.
- Strong storytelling, visual communications and multimedia skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Canva / Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, SEO tools, CMS like WordPress).
