Job description

Be part of a major national infrastructure initiative supporting the development of Singapore's Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF). You will join a team of technical specialists overseeing the construction, testing, and commissioning of advanced waste-to-energy systems.

The Opportunity
  • Our client, Singapore Statutory Board
  • Working Location: Tuas Area
  • Salary: Up to $7,000 (Commensurate based on experience)
  • Working hours: Office: Mon-Thu 8:30am-6:30pm, Fri 8:30am-5:30pm
    Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (day-day-rest, night-night-rest-rest-rest)
    May include weekends and public holidays
  • Transport: Shuttle service available from key MRT stations
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist engineers in supervising construction progress.
  • Coordinate with consultants and agencies to ensure compliance with design and statutory requirements.
  • Participate in testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Attend factory acceptance tests (FATs) locally and overseas.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Nitec in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines)
  • Professional certifications (e.g. Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant, WSH Officer) are advantageous.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Navisworks and Primavera P6 is a plus.
  • Independent, resourceful, and a team player.
  • Willing to work in waste-to-energy facilities and perform shift work.
