Connect Energy partners with a Finance institution to look for an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, who is responsible for the overall strategic, financial and operation of the company in Singapore. This is a start up company where this position will take the lead to grow the company with the support from the stakeholders / Board Management.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the operational and strategic planning for the growth of the company
  • As a financial institution / securities, this position is to make sure that the company is run according to Singapore governance frameworks especially on MAS SFA
  • As a start up, the initial stage will require this role to take on a few roles and proactive
Requirements
  • Degree or Master in Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Securities industry with 6 years in management role.
  • Comply with relevant examination requirements (M1A or 1B, 2A, 6 and 6A, M5, 8 and 8A0
  • Familiar with retails and institution clients
  • Very good in analytical skills for problem solving and managing complex processes
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Teamplayer, logical thinking, able to work under pressure and dedicated.
  • Strong people management, good business acumen with ability to build new partnerships and collaborations.
  • MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH MAS SFA RULES AND REGULATIONS for Capital Market License
  • Familiar with Risk Management and Compliance Framework
  • Resident of Singapore
  • Successful candidate should demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with Chinese stakeholders who primarily use Mandarin for business-level communication.
