Job summary

A local restaurant in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual to oversee kitchen operations, maintain food quality and ensure hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in a similar position and possess advanced culinary knowledge. Responsibilities include designing menus, coordinating staff, and managing supplies. This role requires flexibility for shifts and on-call duty.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.

  • Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
  • Coordinating cooks' tasks.
  • Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
  • Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.

  • Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.

  • Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints.
