SACEOS (Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers) is the leading association driving the growth and excellence of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions (MICE) and Events industry in Singapore. Role Overview
The Executive, Capability Development will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing initiatives that enhance the skills and competencies of professionals in the MICE and Events industry. This position involves working closely with industry stakeholders, training partners, and government agencies to deliver impactful programs that support workforce transformation and industry growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategies Mapping & Implementation
- Create a sustainable and relevant training framework for the MICE industry.
- Review and enhance SACEOS existing education and training programmes, including the relevancy in today’s context, industry players’ interests, course outcomes, curriculum structure and continuous contents improvement processes.
Training Programmes Curation & Management
- Assist in the design and execution of capability development programs, workshops, and certifications for industry professionals.
- Coordinate with trainers, vendors, and partners to ensure high-quality delivery of training initiatives.
Market Outreach / Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with industry members, government bodies, and educational institutions to align programs with industry needs and national skills frameworks.
- Support partnerships that drive innovation and talent development within the sector.
Research & Insights
- Conduct research on emerging trends, skills gaps, and best practices in capability development.
- Provide insights to inform curriculum design and strategic planning.
Tactical Execution / Operational Support
- Managing program logistics, including scheduling, registration, and trainees communications.
- Monitoring program performance and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Business, Education, Human Resources, or related field.
- Fresh graduates or with 1 to 2 years of experience in training, capability development, or program management (experience in MICE or events industry is a plus).
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with SkillsFuture initiatives and workforce development frameworks is advantageous.
