Role Summary

We are seeking a high-potential junior business development professional to join the EDP team and support the company’s strategic growth within the government and public sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative and learning capabilities, curiosity and a genuine interest in public sector engagement, policy environments and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities
  • Strong focus on government sector in Singapore, and development of new business opportunities and see that these opportunities are pursued to their maximum potential
  • Assist in tender and grant coordination, including opportunity tracking, documentation preparation, and compliance with public sector procurement processes
  • Prepare presentation materials, briefing notes, and internal reports as required
  • Collaborate cross functionally with engineering, finance etc to ensure alignment between project proposals and government sustainability frameworks
  • Prepare and present business case and investment recommendation analysis per company requirements.
  • Work with the internal Project Management team to align the solar PV project installation timeline with the client’s projected timeline with the interests of the company and client in mind.
  • Monitor policy and regulatory development in Singapore’s clean energy and sustainability landscape
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the HOD.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics or Public policy with demonstrated interest in sustainability, energy, transition or government affairs
  • 0-2 years of working experience; fresh graduates with strong internship exposure in energy, sustainability, or public sector engagement are welcome to apply
  • Clear and confident communications and presentation abilities, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working in a matrix / cross-functional environment, coordinating with various teams
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Awareness of public-sector processes such as government tenders, grant applications or inter-agency coordination
