Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development and data engineering teams to understand ETL processes and data flows.
• Review Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective SIT Test Plans and SIT test case
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation for ETL testing activities.
• Validates data by running queries in the database and verify the results match the expectations
• Analyses and troubleshoots erroneous results, determines the root causes, logs the defects in HP Quality Centre/ALM and enables defect management, including working with the development team on the resolution of Software related defects
• Solid understanding of databases and systems and the ability to communicate effectively across groups
• Works closely with the Software development team (Business Analysts, Developers)
