Job description

Our client is a well-established education provider with a strong track record in literacy development for young learners. With a structured curriculum and dedicated support team, they focus on helping children build confident reading skills from an early age.

They are seeking committed and enthusiastic teachers who enjoy creating positive learning experiences and guiding children through their reading milestones.

Role Overview

The English Literacy Teacher will:

  • Teach children aged 2.5 to 12 key literacy skills, including phonics, word recognition and reading comprehension
  • Deliver lessons aligned with a structured and proven learning framework
  • Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour and social skills
  • Prepare lesson materials, mark assignments and track student progress
  • Maintain regular and constructive communication with parents on student performance
  • Support centre events such as assessments, trial classes and open days
  • Conduct occasional one-to-one lessons or act as a stand-in teacher where required
  • Collaborate with colleagues and Centre Management to sustain teaching quality and standards
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate:

  • Holds a Degree in Education, Early Childhood, English, Linguistics or a closely related field
    Relevant Diploma holders will also be considered
  • Speaks English confidently with clear and accurate pronunciation
  • Has a genuine love for teaching and engaging young children — patient, caring and lively
  • Preferably brings at least 2 years of teaching experience
  • Demonstrates strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Works professionally within a team environment
  • Able to commit to teaching on weekends and weekday evenings
Schedule & Hours
  • Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Weekends: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
    (Two weekdays off per week)
