Job summary

About the Role

We are seeking passionate and dedicated English Language Instructors to join Wonderlingo, a bilingual education centre serving students aged 1–18 from both local and international schools. You will teach high-quality English programmes aligned with international school standards (IB,AP, A-LEVEL, IGCSE).

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach 1-to-1 and small-group English classes using Wonderlingo’s curriculum and teaching materials.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and academic literacy skills.
  • Support curriculum development, lesson planning, and worksheet editing when needed.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on learning progress.
  • Maintain a professional learning environment aligned with Wonderlingo’s values and teaching philosophy.
  • Participate in training sessions and contribute to educational projects within the centre.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in standard English (both spoken and written).
  • Native-level English proficiency is required, as the role involves teaching advanced literacy, writing skills, and academic English to international school students.
  • Confident, positive attitude, and a strong willingness to learn and grow.
  • Responsible, hardworking, and committed to high-quality teaching.
  • A warm, nurturing personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills, acting as a positive representative of the organisation.
  • Prior teaching experience (school, enrichment centre, international school, or private tutoring) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with international school curricula (IB,AP,A-LEVEL, IGCSE, or similar) is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications

Degree or certification in Education, TESOL, English, Linguistics, or related fields.

  • Experience teaching literacy, phonics, writing skills, or academic English.
  • Experience working with ESL/EAL learners.
Working Hours

Flexible scheduling; teachers may choose preferred teaching hours. Classes may be scheduled on weekdays or weekends depending on student needs. Teaching hours will determine monthly salary.

Salary

The remuneration package will be based on teaching hours, qualifications, and experience. Candidates must meet the expected salary range in accordance with MOM.
