Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a workshop operations coordinator with experience in 2D AutoCAD and strong supervisory skills. The ideal candidate will manage workshop activities, prepare reports, and liaise with subcontractors in a fast-paced environment. A diploma in engineering and relevant experience in the Marine Shipbuilding / Oil & Gas industry is required. This role offers a chance to work from Mondays to Fridays.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Marine Shipbuilding / Oil & Gas industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Overview

Target Recruitment
a member of WMS Group (15C7744)

In charge of workshop daily operation with details as follows:

• Produce 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD for fabrication and submission to client
• Produce 3D drawings for presentations
• Purchasing of materials
• Coordinate, schedule and supervise work assignments together with workshop supervisor
• Answer queries from salesperson and to provide quotations
• Supervise and conduct load test for the assigned equipment
• Prepare monthly production report to management
• Prepare monthly for workshop worker overtime data report
• Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers and inter-department personnel
• Submission of final costing to Finance Department
• Control & record assets movement
• Dispose / transfer of asset

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the Marine Shipbuilding / Oil & Gas industry
• Working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD or 3D Solidworks is an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to work in stress and fast-paced environment

• Working hours: Mondays to Fridays 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
• Working Location: Pandan Road
• Company’s transport pick up / drop off point at Clementi MRT station
