Job summary

A leading global supplier in technology based in Singapore is looking for an individual who will oversee supplier assessments, data analytics, and compliance documentation. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with foundational knowledge of quality control principles. This role emphasizes continuous improvement collaborations with suppliers and cross-functional teams for quality elevation and cost reduction. Ideal candidates are self-motivated and possess good organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management, Production, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of quality control principles and proficiency in data analysis tools such as KNIME, Power BI, and JMP is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supplier assessment & qualification, audits, process qualification, and inspection plans.
• Analyze supplier quality metrics and build predictive models linking supplier inputs to product outcomes.
• Root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and proactive risk prevention.
• Review component qualification data and ensure alignment with industry/company standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to elevate quality and reduce cost.

Job description

About the role – you will:

• Supplier assessment & qualification: audits, process qualification, and inspection plans.
• Data & AI: analyze supplier quality metrics (e.g., process and contamination), build predictive models linking supplier inputs to product outcomes, and report trends.
• Problem solving: root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and proactive risk prevention via design/process reviews.
• Compliance & documentation: review component qualification data and ensure alignment with industry/company standards (e.g., design/assembly requirements, RoHS, PFAS).
• Continuous improvement: collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to elevate quality and reduce cost.

Your experience includes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management, Production, or related field.
