About the job Embedded Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our client engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded hardware systems for innovative products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient hardware solutions from concept through production.

Responsibilites:

  • Design and develop schematic and PCB layouts for embedded hardware systems.
  • Perform component selection, circuit design, and validation based on product requirements.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct circuit-level analysis and troubleshooting to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
  • Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators for testing and debugging.
  • Perform hand soldering and rework of prototypes as needed.
  • Support the hardware validation and verification process through rigorous testing.
  • Document designs, processes, and test results in accordance with engineering standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in embedded hardware design.
  • Strong hands-on experience in schematic capture and PCB layout using tools such as Cadence, OrCAD, or KiCad.
  • Proficiency with lab instruments and tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
  • Excellent circuit-level analysis and troubleshooting skills. At least 2 years of experience working directly on embedded systems development.
  • Solid understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles. Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with high-speed digital design and signal integrity analysis, Knowledge of EMC/EMI design practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with embedded software/firmware concepts, Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT) practices.
