Job summary

A leading advisory firm in Singapore is looking for a Technical Manager (Electrical) to manage design strategies and oversee the implementation of projects. The role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery while adhering to Singapore standards and contractual obligations. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and relevant design experience. A Professional Engineer registration is preferred. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $6,000 - $9,500 monthly.

Qualifications

• Must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Relevant design working experience in electrical engineering is a must.
• Professional Engineer registration preferred but not mandatory.

• Develop and implement successful design strategies.

Working Day: 5.5Days | 8.30am to 5.30pm (Mon - Fri), 8.30am to 12.30pm (Sat)
Project Location: Changi
Salary: $6,000 - $9,500

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field with relevant design working experience
• Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement successful design strategies and implement them for the project
• Ensuring that the multi-disciplinary teams building the project work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time and within budget
• Overseeing the design process using technical expertise
• Advising on the selection of materials used and other aspects of procurement
• Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met
• Reviewing designs with health and safety in mind
• Ensuring strict compliance of the design in accordance with contractual requirements and Singapore standards.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
• Managing processes relating to the project's design to ensure that everything is delivered to schedule and budget
• Keeping up to date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design
• Prepare and submit Single-Line Diagrams (SLD) and Drawings for FAT.
