Job summary

A government environmental agency in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Integrated Waste Management Facility Phase 2 project. The role entails reviewing technical designs, managing construction phases, and leading a technical team to ensure operational safety. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have relevant experience, preferably in waste-to-energy facilities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work shifts are essential. Shortlisted candidates will undergo further assessments.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in waste-to-energy facilities preferred, though candidates without experience will be considered.
  • Candidates with professional certification (e.g., Professional Engineer, Licensed Electrical Worker) will be given preference.
  • Willing and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, when required.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate technical design submissions for electrical equipment and control systems.
  • Oversee the construction and commissioning of IWMF Phase 2 project.
  • Prepare tender documents and manage budgets effectively.
  • Lead a technical team for the safe operation of facilities post-commissioning.
