Job summary

A consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design reviews for Radio Frequency and Satellite systems. You will be responsible for testing and commissioning SATCOM/Microwave systems and liaising with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a diploma/degree in Electronics or Electrical Communication Engineering and strong knowledge of RF and Microwave. Opportunities to work on communication systems will be available.

Qualifications

• Experience handling RF and Satellite systems.

Job description

Electrical Engineer (Satellite, RF)

The Electrical Engineer is required to attend to pre‑sale electrical matters and provide suggestions on project specification and give calculation on the amount of electricity consumption.

Responsibilities

• To conduct and lead design reviews for Radio Frequency/ Satellite, Network communication systems.
• Responsible for Satellite, RF, Network configurations, acceptance, interface and performance testing and commissioning of SATCOM/Microwave systems.
• Liaise with stakeholders and business users.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Radio Frequency, Microwave, Satellite (Satcom) and Microwave.
• Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Communication Engineering.
• Experience in handling Radio Frequency/ Satellite and Network.
• Proficient in operating RF and electronics test and measuring equipment such as signal generator and spectrum analyzer.
• Experience in Satellite/Communication System, CCTV, Network is an added advantage.
