A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking an electrical engineer to manage and design electrical power distribution systems. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, supervising installations, and resolving site-related technical issues. Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution systems and related equipment.
• Review and prepare technical designs focusing on sizing and calculations.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical works.
• Resolve technical issues at the site.
• Ensure subcontractor designs meet specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to fulfill project requirements.

Job description

• Take charge of all aspects of electrical engineering in the design of electrical power distribution system, switchboard, MCC and control
• Prepare and review the design of the Electrical Works, such as equipment sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop calculation, power system study, raceway routing and sizing etc.
• Attend to FAT, supervision of the delivery, installation and testing and commissioning of electrical works.
• Handle and resolve all site technical relating matters.
• Prepare, review and assist in subcontractor design and submission, ensuring all project specifications and design standards are met.
• Assist and collaborate with other project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules.
