Job summary

A leading electrical engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a skilled Electrical Drafting Technician to develop and prepare engineering drawings. Responsibilities include creating drawings from specifications, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring drawing accuracy. Candidates should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or at least two years of relevant experience and must possess the ability to read Single-Line drawings. Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare engineering drawings, such as Single-Line, Layout, Schematics, Controls, from sketches.
• Able to create drawings from written and verbal specifications obtained from Design Department.
• Work closely with Engineering Department to ensure co-ordination design effort is maintained.
• Prepare enclosure specifications and material order list.
• Check drawings for completeness and accuracy.
• Generate material requisition order and check against drawings.
• Complete drafting responsibilities according to schedule.
• Maintain all revisions of project drawings.
• Perform other duties as specified by superior.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or minimum 2-year experience in electrical drafting.
• Must be able to read Single-Line drawings (electrical).
• In-house training provided for drafting skills.
• Advantage if possess basic AutoCAD 2D electrical drafting skills.
• Independent and self-motivated.
