Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Management System to ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions in coordination with the EHS team.
• Deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors on topics such as hazardous material handling, PPE usage, and emergency response.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation, including incident reports, training records, and safety procedures.
• Support key EHS initiatives such as Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), contractor safety assessments, fire protection system checks, and EHS promotional activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant EHS experience in a pharmaceutical, petrochemical, or process manufacturing environment.
• Safety Coordinator Level B certification required; firefighting supervisory training is an advantage.
• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial hygiene practices, contractor safety programs, and fire safety systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions and with contractors.
