Infrastructure Project Manager

As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and implementing infrastructure-based projects with quality, within scope, and ensuring deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer requirements.Responsibilities

• Lead, deliver and maintain projects within time, scope, and cost.
• Plan and establish project schedules, quality plans, budgets, communication and risk management plans.
• Manage issues arising from scope definition, disputes, integration of components, financials, implementation, overruns, progress tracking and resources mobilization.
• Lead project and service team on smooth transition to operation in accordance to customer requirement and processes.
• Manage project operation and ensure service level is maintained without financial penalty and security incidents.
• Manage contracts and subcontractors.
• Effectively engage stakeholders in project decisions and execution.
• Build long‑term customer relationships and negotiate change control mechanism.
• Collaborate cross‑functional teams to ensure project success.
• Oversee scope, budget, and risk; align with network objectives.
• Manage government‑approved vendors and contractors; understand procurement processes and contract management within public sector.

Team Management

• Lead, guide, manage, and motivate the project team members in delivering quality project works, eliminating exceptions, and delighting customers.
• Plan optimal use of resources across teams.
• Manage performance review and maintain open communication for continuous improvement.
• Ensure high individual and staff billability.

Qualifications

• Project Management Experience in public sector projects in Singapore; valid active project management certificate (e.g., PMP, CITPM).
• Understanding of IT Infrastructure components (WAN, LAN, Internet, Voice, Video services, structured cabling).
• Strong teamwork, leadership, issue resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, especially when working across remote teams.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, handle multiple projects, and adapt to dynamic environment.
• Quick learner with critical thinking and ability to learn new technologies.
• Familiar with government regulations, security standards, and compliance requirements specific to Singapore.
• Knowledge of data protection laws (PDPA) and cybersecurity guidelines.

Technical Skillsets

• Network and Server Infrastructure design, implementation, and management.
• Cloud technologies familiarity (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM).
• Storage solution understanding (SAN, NAS, DAS).
• Security best practices (access controls, encryption, vulnerability management).
• Project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira).
• Change management processes and tools.
• ITIL framework familiarity.
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python).
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity understanding.
