Service Engineer (Commissioning/Mechanical/Marine/Vessel)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute commissioning activities for mechanical systems on marine vessels.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful commissioning of vessels.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify system performance and compliance with specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues during commissioning.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Document commissioning procedures, results, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Prior experience in commissioning mechanical systems on marine vessels.
• Knowledge of marine systems, equipment, and regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Willingness to travel and work on vessels for extended periods.
