Job description

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities of the plant, ensuring efficient and safe operations

• Plan & execute the maintenance and engineering work activities related to Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) to achieve Safe & Stable Plant Operation.

• Support the engineering & minor modification works, on E&I aspects.

• Contribute to maintenance cost rationalization and achieve cost savings on Yearly Plant Maintenance Budget.

• Learn and develop proficiency in all the technical and functional aspects of plant maintenance, including but not limited to, electrical equipment, process control system & instruments and their maintenance methods, maintenance planning & schedule, maintenance resource management etc.

• Plan and develop an effective Maintenance Work Plan, including documents like equipment technical specifications and drawings, maintenance work activities list, for executing the shut down maintenance work of assigned for plant safely, with good work quality and within tight schedule and given budget.

• Lead and manage different groups of Tradesman from diverse technical competency & background (the in-house and external ad-hoc contractors), to execute the maintenance work activities in safe, effective, and efficient manner.

• Responding to unknown or urgent plant equipment situations, making sense of what could be the causes and developing the immediate countermeasure actions to be taken immediately to stabilize or improve the situation

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation/maintenance related field

• Min 2-5 years of relevant working experience

• Good technical knowledge on the functionality of electrical equipment, process control system & instruments commonly utilised in process plants, e.g. AC motors, control valves, analyzers, process measuring instruments etc
