Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Truck Driver to operate a 24-footer lorry for cargo deliveries island-wide. Candidates must possess a valid Singapore Class 4 driving license and preferably a HazMat Transport Driver Permit. A clean driving record and at least 1 year of logistics experience are required. Qualifications

Job description

Main job duties & responsibilities:

• Operate a 24-footer lorry truck for island-wide cargo deliveries
• Transport containers to and from PSA
• Safely deliver dangerous goods/cargoes, adhering to regulations.
• Manage and mitigate minor spillages of dangerous goods.
• Perform other assigned tasks as required by the Supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Candidates MUST possess a valid Singapore Class 4 driving license.
• Possession of a HazMat Transport Driver Permit (HTDP) is preferred and considered an advantage.
• Must have a clean driving record with no recent violations.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Must be literate in English (reading, writing and speaking) for communication, documentation and understanding instructions.

Working arrangement (5.5 days workweek):

Mon - Fri: 8.00am to 5.00pm
Sat: 8.00am - 12.00pm

Working location: 11 Clementi Loop (3 bus-stops away from Clementi Central)

Basic Salary + Allowances : up to $3,800 (without absent)

Gross salary: Fixed $1,600
