Job description

Technician possess a good drafting experience in draft development ideally related to precision tooling, machinery or mechatronics assembly project realization, working collaboratively with cross functional teams internally and externally.

Technician understands basic physical & mechanical principles, various manufacturing processes and technologies particularly in moulding, stamping, machining, adhesive etc and engineering research & development through analysis, prototyping & testing.

A well-rounded mix of experimental, theoretical and drafting skills. Aptitude in hands-on prototype lab work, including but not limited to debug, test, assembly & measurement jig drafting; commission the company’s product, jigs and fixtures, customized semi and fully automatic machines or assemblies.

Solid experience in fundamentals of geometric symbols & dimensions

Tolerance stack creation and analysis

Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD modelling with other tools such as PDM, PLM etc

Duties and Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to draft, modify, reverse engineering and develop new products
• Intuitive in mechanical movement, function and performance.
• Responsible for precision tools, jigs & fixtures, mechanical drafting
• Project coordination to meet customer expectations and product specifications
• Manage drafting activities from planning phase to final acceptance
• Maintain and perform proper documentation controls complying with ISO9001:2015
• Attend customer feedback, issue of quality defects and modification improvement.
• Check engineering drawing, material/ quantity are reported to the customer specific work requirements to all relevant manufacturing processes
• 5.5 day work week
