Job summary

A local design firm is seeking a diligent individual to prepare 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM. The role requires overseeing project progress, ensuring that all drawings meet design specifications, and effectively liaising with clients and contractors. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage documentation related to project schedules and updates. This position demands proactive communication and regular monitoring of construction activities.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1. Prepare 2D/3D concept, schematic, detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD/Revit/BIM
  • 2. Work according to project schedule
  • 3. Meticulously check all drawings before submission
  • 4. Maintain, update and edit drawing sets according to feedback from consultant/client
  • 5. Drawings logs and relevant documents has to be updated, maintained and filed in server
  • 6. Ensure dimensions of fitments / fixtures/ materials/ equipment drawn will fit and feedback if there is mismatch
  • 7. Liaise with designers and other stakeholders to capture approved design changes
  • 8. Any other duties assigned by supervisor/Project Manager
  • 9. Assist to oversee project from start to finish
  • 10. Generating proper and professional paper works related to running projects eg. Schedules, progress updates, BOQ, material list etc and filed in server
  • 11. Ensure that construction activities progress according to site schedule and design intention
  • 12. Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project
  • 13. Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meeting with all the sub-teams
  • 14. Serve as a link with the clients with PM
  • 15. Review the deliverables prepared by the team
  • 16. Any other duties assigned by supervisor / Project Manager
