Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a qualified individual to prepare and analyze technical drawings and manage project documentation. This role requires proficiency in BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD with a degree in Architecture or related fields. The candidate must be able to work in Jurong Island, possess good interpersonal skills, and be available beyond normal working hours if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years design experience in relevant field.
• Able to work in Jurong Island.
• Available to work Mon to Sat, beyond normal working hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze technical drawings for compliance.
• Liaise with Project Managers and Engineers for drawing approvals.
• Manage and maintain project documents and update drawings.
• Control project documentation on multiple projects.
• Ensure timely entries in electronic documentation system.
• Provide support on tasks and projects as directed by management.

Job Description

• Prepare, review and analyze technical drawing to resolve of the design problem, BIM Model, Shop drawings & Detail drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines and comply with all the relevant statutory acts, regulations and practice
• To liaise with Project Managers and Engineers for technical drawings and submission approval and coordinate and monitoring of the all drawings submission schedule
• To manage and maintain all the drawing and project documents files, update the drawings as needed and make it corrections to drawings as directed by the project manager or Head of Department and ensure the final design comply with the project specification/contract requirements are shared and implemented
• Perform and Control all aspects of project documentation on multiple simultaneous projects, utilizing various control methods/systems
• Ensures correct and timely entries of database in the electronic system for both documentation and training system
• Provides additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture / Building / Civil Engineering or any related discipline
• Good Knowledge in Architecture, Structural Steel works, M&E Services or Equivalent
• Proficient (min 3 year design experience) in the use of BIM / Revit / AutoCAD and other 3D Modelling Design Software
• Able to work in Jurong Island
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Mon to Sat - Ability to work beyond normal working hours
