Are you a seasoned life insurance actuary ready to shape the future of Asia’s risk landscape?

We’re seeking a Director of Research & Policy to lead high‑impact research and drive policy engagement on emerging risks—from climate change to ageing societies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver research projects across life, health, retirement, climate‑related and protection‑gap themes, ensuring rigorous, actionable outputs
  • Develop and execute a policy engagement strategy, positioning the organisation as a thought leader across Asia
  • Oversee operational functions—including office administration, IT infrastructure, data management and vendor relationships—to ensure strategic alignment and efficiency
  • Convene and facilitate industry working groups to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Support fundraising and partner engagement by articulating compelling research and policy insights to stakeholders
  • Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and operational matters as required
What You Bring
  • Around 10 years’ professional experience in life/health insurance, actuarial science, risk management or a closely related field
  • Deep expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, actuarial modelling or risk analytics
  • Proven organisational and operational management skills, including leading administrative teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of influencing diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, translating complex issues into practical policy recommendations
  • Demonstrated success in fostering collaborations with industry, regulators and academia
