Job summary

A leading global asset management firm in Singapore seeks an experienced professional for the Institutional Business Development team. This role involves building client relationships and raising institutional capital in Greater China. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in institutional business development, strong communication skills in English and Chinese, and robust financial product knowledge. Successful candidates will contribute to strategies that enhance the firm's business profile in Asia.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience working with institutional investors.
  • Proven track record in institutional business development with Greater China clients.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge on financial products and investments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify client opportunities and execute business development plans.
  • Deepen relationships with existing clients and engage new prospect investors.
  • Handle the sales process including RFIs, due diligence, and onboarding.
  • Assist in planning and executing fundraising roadshows with Portfolio Managers.
  • Contribute to marketing plans to build the firm's profile and generate opportunities.
  • Maintain client database and contact information via CRM systems.

Skills

Written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

Education

University Degree in Business Administration or Finance
