Job description
About Codigo

At Codigo, we don’t just build apps; we craft digital experiences. As one of the region’s leading mobile app developers, we blend sharp strategy, award-winning UI/UX design, and robust technology to help startups and Fortune 500 companies alike launch products that matter. We are a team of problem solvers, creators, and tech enthusiasts looking for someone who shares our passion for digital innovation.

The Role

We are looking for a Digital Project Manager who thrives in the intersection of design, technology, and business. You will be the "bridge" between our clients and our internal teams (Developers and UI/UX Designers).

Your mission is to bring order to chaos. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the high level of polish Codigo is known for. You aren't just a task-master; you are a product owner proxy who understands what makes a mobile app successful.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of mobile application projects (iOS, Android, Web) from kick-off to deployment and maintenance.

  • Scope & Timeline Management: Create detailed project timelines, functional specifications, and user stories. Ensure projects stay within scope and budget while managing "feature creep."

  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients. Manage expectations, provide regular status updates, and translate client business needs into technical requirements for the team.

  • Agile Leadership: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Remove blockers for the development and design teams.

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the QA team to oversee testing phases (SIT/UAT) and ensure the final product meets Codigo’s quality standards before release.

  • Launch Coordination: Manage the submission process for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, ensuring compliance with their guidelines.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Project Manager in a digital agency or tech product environment.

  • Mobile Literacy: Strong understanding of the mobile development landscape (iOS & Android guidelines, native vs. hybrid technologies, and basic API logic).

  • Methodology: Proven experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Tool Proficiency: Expertise in project management tools (Asana)

  • Communication: Exceptional command of English (written and verbal). You must be able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical clients.

  • Problem Solving: A proactive attitude toward identifying risks early and proposing solutions rather than just reporting problems.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)
  • Experience coding or a background in Computer Science (you don't need to code, but understanding the logic helps).

  • Experience managing UI/UX design projects specifically.

Why Join Codigo?
  • Work on Top-Tier Projects: Build apps for recognised brands and exciting startups.

  • Collaborative Culture: A flat structure where your voice is heard, and developers/designers work with you, not just for you.

  • Growth: Opportunities to upskill in product management and emerging tech (AI, IoT).

  • Perks: Competitive salary, health insurance, flexible work arrangements, and a well-stocked pantry.

Candidates must be already located in Singapore to apply as we are unable to sponsor work visa.
