Overview

Position: Social Media & Customer Service Assistant
Location: Singapore
Salary Range: S$2,800 – S$3,500 / month (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time

Job Description

We are seeking a Social Media & Customer Service Assistant to help manage our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and provide customer support via email and messaging apps. Candidates must be fluent in English, and be able to understand spoken Mandarin (writing is not required) for communication with certain clients or suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and update company social media accounts (Facebook/Instagram/TikTok/LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Create and publish English content to build brand awareness and engagement
  • Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, including ad management and performance tracking
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, WhatsApp, Messenger, and other channels
  • Provide pre-sales and after-sales support, handling order-related issues
  • Understand basic spoken Mandarin from clients/suppliers and translate into English communication when needed
  • Prepare monthly reports on social media and customer service performance
Requirements
  • Diploma or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields
  • Strong proficiency in English (spoken & written) – must have
  • Ability to understand spoken Mandarin – preferred but not required for writing
  • Familiar with social media platforms and digital communication tools
  • Prior experience in social media management or customer service preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; basic data analysis skills a plus
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
