Sandbar swimwear is an exciting rapidly growing Singapore start up in sustainable fashion. Set up by passionate divers and entrepreneurs, Sandbar makes family swimwear from recycled plastic bottles and pre consumer waste. In addition for every item sold, they remove 1 KG of plastic waste from our oceans. Sandbar Swimwear has already launched their first retail store and are looking at opening a second location within this year.

Sandbar is disrupting the local and international markets with a family friendly, sustainable concept that is growing fast. As such, they are looking for a Digital Marketing, Branding and Communications Lead that is looking to work within a dynamic growth minded team.

Expect your role to grow with as Sandbar continues on an exciting journey of expansion. In conjunction with the management team the Digital Marketing, Branding and Communications Lead will be helping to create and define their brand and tone of voice across the market.

Like to travel? Attending future photo shoots and traveling overseas each year to refresh their content and swimwear photography and product gallery and helping to get behind the scenes shots for social media, is an exciting perk that makes this role fun and exciting!

Want to be part of something refreshing and world changing? We are looking for a Singaporean or PR with a love for the ocean and with an interest for their innovative sustainable swimwear concept, that wants to grow fast within the business.

Responsibilities

  • Create, develop and implement online marketing, branding and advertising strategies
  • Plan, develop, schedule and manage Sandbar’s digital presence across social media, paid adverts, website and e-commerce platforms.
  • Working together with the management team, help to implement online sales campaigns and digital marketing plans to stimulate new customer acquisition and repeat purchase online.
  • Creating full campaign calendar across the year
  • Create online marketing materials, including Banners, Lookbooks and Newsletters working alongside our media partners to select images and create graphics for articles.
  • Design and schedule email marketing
  • Creating high touch events for product launches
  • Communicating with our ocean conversation teams for project updates
  • Tapping into our partners nextworks for cross promotion opportunities
  • Identifying new promotional partners and like minded companies for collaborations
  • Proof reading and copywriting editorial and advertorial articles and selecting lifestyle photography to feature.
  • Blogs, SEO assistance
  • Assist in all other marketing activities as stipulated by the management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma from reputable institutions in marketing, business or communications.
  • Must be able to execute branding or advertising campaigns on social media such as corporate websites, Google, Facebook & Instagram and E-commerce sites.
  • Adobe creative suite skills, Canva, Klaviyo would all be nice to haves.
  • Experience in retail markets and strong media contacts will have an added advantage
  • Organized and highly motivated, fast learner
  • Excellent communication skills in writing and oral presentation in English
  • Strong interest in sustainability
  • Ability to be self motived, solutions focused and proactive in driving results
  • Strong work ethic, wilingness to take on feedback and grow
  • Prepared to work in a start up environment.
  • This is a long term position for someone to grow a team and become a shareholder a we grow.
