Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online marketing strategies to enhance the institute’s brand presence, attract prospective students, and engage existing learners. This role involves planning and executing digital campaigns across multiple platforms, including social media, search engines, email, and the institute’s website. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, analytics, and content creation, with the ability to align marketing efforts to the institute’s enrollment and brand objectives.
Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Responsible for day-to-day digital and social media campaign initiatives, including planning, optimising, copywriting and deployment
- Strong understanding of advertising formats & marketing objectives, and campaign setups on Facebook & Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations
- Manage and track approved marketing budget and spending and analyse ROI
- Conduct competitor's analysis and planning of new digital and social media marketing strategies & bidding
- Analyse Google Search Console data and propose improvements to enhance website performance
- Propose the audience segments according to the school's marketing requirements
- Monitor CRM analysis closely with sales performance and work with the sales team to optimise online campaigns
- Responsible for managing local and international marketing campaigns and lead generation at MDIS
Social Media Content Creation
- Develop and execute captivating content strategies for MDIS across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights to create timely and impactful content.
- Monitor social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to stay ahead in the digital landscape.
EDM (Electronic Direct Mail)
- Design and implement effective EDM campaigns to reach our target audience and drive engagement (weekly)
- Write persuasive and personalized content for EDMs that encourages user interaction and supports marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse EDM performance metrics to optimise future campaigns.
Community Management
- Actively engage with followers, responding to comments, and addressing inquiries.
- Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and participation in discussions.
Analytics and Reporting
- Utilise analytics tools to track and analyse social media performance metrics.
- Adjust content strategies based on data-driven insights and industry trends.
Required Skills/Abilities
- An understanding of Google SEO, search engine algorithms, and ranking methods.
- Proficient in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education / Certification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years experience in digital marketing with expertise across various online channels.
