We are seeking a
Digital Engagement Manager
to act as the bridge between technical teams and business users. In this role, you will drive technology adoption by translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly communication that empowers non-technical staff to embrace new ICT solutions confidently. You will design engagement strategies, build digital literacy, and support organisation-wide transformation efforts aligned with Whole-of-Government (WOG) digital initiatives.
Translate technical concepts into clear, business-focused language.
Create user-friendly communication materials and engaging content across different channels.
Facilitate presentations and sessions that help users understand the purpose and benefits of new ICT solutions.
Design and deliver engagement activities, workshops, and conferences to support digital adoption.
Facilitate discussions on ICT frameworks, priorities, and user concerns.
Build peer learning networks to promote digital upskilling and competency development.
Strengthen collaboration between business and technical teams.
Lead engagement sessions to identify challenges, barriers, and user needs.
Advocate user perspectives through roundtables, town halls, and structured feedback loops.
Develop feedback mechanisms and assess user readiness for change.
Identify adoption gaps and propose targeted support strategies.
Monitor user feedback and collaborate with technical teams to ensure timely support and enhancements.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in user engagement, business analysis, digital adoption, or technology‑business communication roles.
Strong communication and presentation skills, especially for non-technical audiences.
Creative content development abilities (visuals, storytelling, multimedia).
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into practical business applications.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
Experience with public sector digital initiatives or change management (advantageous).
Proficiency in digital communication tools (Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Canva) and analytics platforms (Power BI) is an added benefit.
