Overview

Singapore Brain Development Centre (SBDC) was established in March 2005 and stands as one of the pioneer centres providing cognitive development training for children of all ages in Singapore. Our developmental and cognitive training programs are based on scientific research to enhance brain functions. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated therapists to join our team. The therapist will work with children and families to assess developmental and cognitive delays, create and implement individualised intervention plans, and collaborate with a team to support the holistic development of each child.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide play-based and structured interventions to enhance developmental & cognitive skills.
  • Utilise a variety of techniques to support improvements in sensory motor, language, cognitive, social-emotional development, and more.
  • Monitor and document child progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive standardised assessments and observational methods to evaluate potential learning challenges.
  • Educate families with strategies and resources to support their child’s development at home.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood, Linguistics, Sports Science or related fields.
  • Experience working with children is an advantage.
  • Effective engagement and communication skills with children and clients.
  • Ability to work on weekends.
