Deputy Director, Workers InnovationS & Employability (WISE)
As Deputy Director of the Workers InnovationS & Employability (WISE) Division, you will lead a team dedicated to designing, developing, and delivering innovative products and tools that enhance the employability of Singapore’s workforce.
Your mission is to build solutions that empower jobseekers, from digital tools and content to frameworks and resources, enabling them to navigate career transitions confidently and sustainably. You will translate workforce insights into practical innovations that strengthen e2i’s service offerings and national employability outcomes.
Lead the end-to-end design and development of employability products, toolkits, and digital solutions that support jobseekers and workers in upskilling and career navigation.
Integrate user insights, behavioural research, and data analytics into product design to ensure relevance and impact.
Pilot and iterate innovative models of career readiness and employment facilitation, including self-help tools, digital platforms, and capability frameworks.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Career Coaches, Data, and Product teams) to ensure solution alignment and scalability across e2i’s ecosystem.
Drive a culture of experimentation and design thinking within WISE to develop new concepts and prototypes that address evolving workforce needs.
Translate strategic goals into innovation roadmaps, prioritising initiatives that deliver measurable impact and operational efficiency.
Evaluate technology trends and employability models to inform product direction and organisational learning.
Develop and refine employability frameworks, toolkits, and resources used across e2i’s career services.
Support digitalisation and automation efforts that enhance productivity, user experience, and access to services.
Measure product adoption and outcomes, applying data-driven insights to continuously improve performance and value delivery.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative, outcome-oriented solutions.
Foster a culture of curiosity, agility, and impact, empowering the team to prototype, test, and scale what works.
Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and KPI management to ensure effective execution and governance.
Passionate about helping Singaporeans to find employment and enhance their employability.
Self-initiated to drive process productivity, improvements, and capabilities development.
Driven and able to contribute independently while working together with others.
Innovative and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Strong project management skills in conceptualization, implementation, evaluation, and engagement with stakeholders.
Experience in business development/project management/programme development will be advantageous.
Flexible to accommodate to adjusted work schedules, evenings, and weekends when required to serve workers / jobseekers needs; in which time off will be offered.
