A central bank in Singapore is seeking an investigations officer to support enforcement activities. The role requires at least 3 years of experience and strong analytical and communication skills. Candidates will work closely with investigators and legal staff. The position offers a dynamic environment and opportunities for professional growth.
You will be a member of the Banking and Insurance Investigations Division (“BID”) of the Enforcement Department. BID is responsible for investigating and enforcing breaches of the laws administered by MAS. Given the MAS-CAD joint investigation arrangement for Financial Advisers Act and Securities and Futures Act, you will also be gazetted as a Commercial Affairs Officer with criminal investigative power.
You can expect to be challenged intellectually and professionally as you work closely with other investigators, legal officers, as well as internal stakeholders to carry out investigations. You will provide litigation support in regulatory appeals and prosecution. You will gain insight into how the financial services sector in Singapore operates, and the rules and regulations at work, as you play an important role in MAS' enhanced enforcement regime.
As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted or not within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
