Job summary

A human resources consultancy in Singapore seeks a Sales Promoter for a 1-year contract. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs and promoting FMCG products in chain pharmacies and departmental stores. The ideal candidate should possess experience in retail and be adept at setting up product displays and delivering presentations. Competitive compensation is offered, with potential earnings of up to $2500 including incentives and commission.

Qualifications

  • Retailer experience is a plus for merchandising and inventory management.
  • Retail experience is preferred.

Position title: Sales Promoter (1 yr contract)
Location: Little India
Working days: 6 days per week, 1 weekday off
Working hours: 1pm – 10pm (1 hr meal break)
Salary :$1,500 basic + Incentive $400 + Commission (0.5 to 5%) = Gross possible up to $2400-2500

Job Responsibilities
  • Listening and understanding customers’ needs, assist them to find the perfect product for their needs.
  • Constantly building product knowledge and delivering this knowledge in engaging ways.
  • Setting up attractive product displays and promotional booths.
  • Delivering presentations and demonstrations to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Distributing samples and providing feedback for improvement to the management team.
  • Following up with customers and providing guidance on product selection.
  • Meeting daily targets and submitting sales reports.
  • Networking with relevant stakeholders.
  • Searching for new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience in promoting FMCG/OTC products in chain pharmacies and departmental stores
  • Retailer experience, will be a plus as well – this is for our merchandising and inventory management requirement, which is part and parcel of a promoter role as well
  • Preferable with experience in retail
