Job summary

A dental practice in Singapore is seeking a Dental Assistant to assist the dentist during treatments, maintain hygiene, and provide excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, a caring personality, and be motivated to learn. Training is provided for those with no experience.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Motivated to provide exceptional care to patients.
  • Minimum Secondary School/'O' Level or Nitec.
  • Able to work in a team and multitask.
  • Warm, caring and cheerful personality.
  • Responsible and willing to learn.
  • Relevant experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Dentist during dental treatments and procedures.
  • Maintain overall hygiene standard.
  • Assist dentist to prep patients for X-ray.
  • Disinfect and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Perform general housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of treatment rooms.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of dental supplies in clinic.
  • Prepare materials, dental instruments, and equipment as required.
  • Prepare cases to be sent out to third party Labs.
  • Attend to incoming calls and provide customer service for patients at front desk.
  • Admit and discharge patients.
  • Provide post-operative care for patients after procedures.
  • Schedule patient’s appointments.
  • Register and maintain patient’s account by recording medical and personal information data.
