Job description

• Position :IT/Data Centre Technician (Server/Hard Disk)

• Location : Lok Yang Way

• Working hours : 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.00 am to 5.30 pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3500 + AWS + Performance Bonus + Meal

• Duration : Permanent

• Industry :Logistics MNC

Main Responsibilities

• Perform physical and technical tasks of intermediate & escalated complexity on Data Center infrastructure equipment including but not limited to servers infrastructure, network infrastructure, or other equipment on the DC floor, without immediate supervision.

• Work alongside Technicians in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers, networking equipment, and cabling (can be physically demanding including moving and racking equipment).

• Fix broken servers (replace hard drives, replace bad sticks of RAM, etc.).

• Use hardware/software tools and workflows (automation) in support of these tasks.

• Strictly follow all policies, processes, and procedures related to the activities and data center environment.

• Perform maintenance on a timely basis with adequate recordkeeping.

• Maintain equipment in running order with minimal downtime.

• Ensure a safe working environment and perform maintenance in a safe manner.

Requirements

• NITEC in IT or technical based qualification

• Familiar and comfortable using and working with IT equipment and software.

• Experience in repair of electronics components of computers.

• Scissors lift will be added advantage.
