Qualifications

• Ability to read and execute basic Shell or Bash scripts.
• Proficiency in Linux systems and hardware issue identification.
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with remote server management protocols.
• Willing to work on weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan server placement in racks including mounting arrangements.
• Install and maintain UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Reinstall OS as needed and troubleshoot system abnormalities.
• Conduct routine server maintenance and handle break-fix tasks.
• Manage internal system data including asset tracking.
• Collaborate with teams to address hardware issues.
• Participate in on-call duties for operational issues.
• Monitor online assets and diagnose potential problems.
• Handle server decommissioning processes.
• Provide feedback on tools and systems for testing.
• Oversee RMA submissions and media destruction tracking.
• Support full server lifecycle management.
