About the Project

Global Innovation Education Group is developing a groundbreaking 100-piece AI Education Curriculum based on our original 100 AI Comics series designed for primary and junior school learners.

We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Developer to transform each comic into engaging, age-appropriate, classroom‑ready learning modules, complete with:

  • Schemes of Work (SOW)
  • Lesson plans
  • Student activities
  • Light assessments
  • Rubrics
  • Teacher guides

These materials will be targeted at UK, US, and international schools, and aligned with modern AI literacy goals.

Role Summary

The Curriculum Developer will take creative, narrative‑driven comic content and convert it into structured, pedagogically strong learning modules for Primary Grades 1–6. Each module must capture the essence of the comic while delivering clear learning outcomes related to AI concepts, digital literacy, creativity, and problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Design
  • Convert each AI comic into 1 complete learning module (100 modules total)
  • Define learning objectives aligned with UK/US primary curricula & future skills frameworks
  • Develop Schemes of Work (SOW) covering 10 topics × 10 lessons
2. Lesson Development
  • Write structured lesson plans with:
    • Warm‑up activities
    • Main instruction
    • Group tasks
    • Reflection
    • Optional extension activities
  • Create age‑appropriate worksheets and classroom tasks
3. Assessment & Rubrics
  • Design simple but effective formative assessments
  • Create rubrics for creativity, reasoning, collaboration, and digital literacy
  • Ensure assessments are child‑friendly and easy for teachers to use
4. Teacher Support Material
  • Create Teacher Guides explaining:
    • AI concepts in simple terms
    • Suggested teaching strategies
    • Classroom management tips
    • Ways to differentiate instruction
5. Quality Control
  • Ensure consistency across all 100 modules
  • Maintain accuracy and clarity of AI concepts
  • Collaborate with illustrators, editors, and reviewers
Qualifications
  • Degree in Education, Curriculum Studies, Instructional Design, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience designing curriculum for primary‑level education
  • Strong understanding of pedagogy for ages 6–12
  • Ability to break down complex topics (AI, tech literacy) into child‑friendly learning
  • Excellent writing and structuring skills
  • Experience in developing SOWs, assessments, and rubrics
  • Familiarity with UK or US curriculum frameworks preferred
Bonus Skills (Preferred)
  • Experience with STEM, AI literacy, coding, or digital skills programs
  • Experience with illustrated or story‑based teaching materials
  • Background in publishing or educational content development
  • Experience training teachers or creating teacher professional development materials
