Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a crewing coordinator to support crewing operations, arrange staff travel, and ensure candidates meet requirements. The role requires a minimum Diploma and at least a year of relevant experience, preferably in the Maritime industry. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be competent in Microsoft Office. Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma holder in any discipline.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the Maritime industry.
  • Pleasant personality, mature, with good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, take initiative, and well organized.
  • Able to work fast under pressure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Support crewing operations in scheduling and planning crew changes.
  • Assist in travel arrangements for crewing staff, including tickets and accommodation.
  • Ensure candidates have relevant requirements (medical, certificates).
  • Assist on all crew issues.
  • Perform data entry and filing duties.
  • Maintain a proper filing and document control system.

Location

Pasir Panjang (shuttle service from MRT to office building)

Salary

up to $5600

Working Hours

5 days work week, 8.30am to 5pm and 830am to 4pm

Responsibilities
  • Support crewing operations in performing schedules and planning of crew changes and follow up with relevant parties.
  • Assist in travel arrangements of mobilization and de-mobilization of crewing staff, including air tickets, visa application, hotel accommodation, etc.
  • Ensure candidates are equipped with relevant requirements (medical, competence certificate / qualification documents).
  • Assist on all crew issues.
  • Perform data entry, recording, printing and filing duties.
  • Maintain a proper and user-friendly filing and document control system for recording and tracking of all documents for the department.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma holder in any discipline.
  • Experience: at least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role preferably in the Maritime industry.
  • Pleasant personalities mature, with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, take initiative and well organized.
  • Able to work fast under pressure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
