Job summary

A leading technical advisory company in Singapore is seeking a Crane Service Engineer to provide on-site training and technical support for freight container handling equipment across Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, debugging PLC programs, and a willingness to travel at short notice. Competitive salary ranging from $3000 to $4000.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years’ experience with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.
• Good knowledge and experience in debugging PLC programs, diagnostics and electrical & hydraulic controls.
• Willing and able to travel at short notice in the region.

• Commissioning, troubleshooting, on-site training & technical support on freight container handling equipment.
• Provide feedback to designers and factory personnel on site issues.

Crane Service Engineer

Salary: $3000 to $4000

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:00am – 5:30pm

Working Location: Gul Circle

Responsibilities:

• Commissioning, troubleshooting, on-site training & technical support on freight container handling equipment in ports in Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Africa.
• Provide feedback to designers and factory personnel on any issues found on site.
• Proposals for new features and enhancements on equipment in service & assist sales teams with compiling quotes.
• For the Middle East and Africa, the position is based in the United Arab Emirates with primary focus on the Port of Neom, Saudi Arabia.
• For Asia and Australia, the positions are based in Singapore.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 8 years’ experience with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.
• Good knowledge and experience in debugging PLC programs, diagnostics and electrical & hydraulic controls & feedback.
• Willing and able to travel at short notice in the region.
