As a Corporate Workplace Safety and Health Officer cum Environmental Control Officers (ECOs) officer at BERJAYA BUILDCON PTE. LTD.', you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. This full-time role is vital in maintaining our company's commitment to environmental sustainability and the wellbeing of our workforce.
Develop, implement and monitor workplace safety and health and enviromental policies and procedures and issue including assist the Project Manager of the workplace to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes therein, reasonably practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work in that workplace or may be affected in the workplace and implement the measure or safe work procedure;
Ensuring the compliance of local authorities rules and regulation and conduct site inspection and development QESH plan to all stakeholders and workers.
Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
Provide training and guidance to employees on workplace safety best practices
Manage the company's environmental compliance, including waste management and recycling initiatives
Liaise with regulatory authorities and external partners on environmental and safety matters
Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions
Maintain comprehensive records and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in a workplace safety and health or environmental compliance role
Strong knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and training skills to engage with employees at all levels
Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Independent in work and work assigned
