About the role:

AEI Legal is seeking an experienced Corporate Secretarial Executive to play a key role in supporting our deals and clients by providing exceptional corporate secretarial support.

If you are someone who takes pride in being meticulous, organised and wants to be part of and grow with a tight knit and accomplished team, you could be a good fit for the role.

This job description is for an individual contributor. However, if you are looking for developmental opportunities to eventually lead a small team of junior corporate secretaries, we would be open to charting this course with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate secretarial matters for Singapore companies.

  • Prepare and file a range of statutory documents for corporate actions in a timely manner.

  • Oversee Know Your Client (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) checks to ensure compliance with AML and financial regulations.

  • Maintain up-to-date statutory registers and corporate records.

  • Liaise with internal and external parties as the role may require.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate secretarial work in a law firm. Candidates from professional services firms or MNCs will also be considered.

  • A good working understanding of statutory requirements in the Companies’ Act and other applicable laws and governance frameworks.

  • Good command of written and spoken English.

  • Ability to work independently and manage both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Be proactive and a team player.

  • Meticulous, organized, detailed and deadline oriented.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially MS Word).

  • Experience in using CAS360 (or similar corporate secretarial software) or the willingness to pick it up would be an advantage.
