Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the head cook or chef in preparing meals according to recipes and standards
• Perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, peeling, and marinating ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and storage areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as required
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Properly store food items to prevent spoilage and contamination
• Assist in receiving and checking food supplies and inventory
• Dispose of waste correctly and keep the kitchen environment safe
• Support chefs during peak service periods
• Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and work as part of a team.
