A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee contractual and commercial matters for multiple construction projects. The role requires at least 8-12 years of construction experience, with strong leadership and negotiation skills. Candidates should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, and a solid understanding of SIA/REDAS contracts. The position demands excellent communication skills in English and a detail-oriented approach to risk management.
Manage and oversee contractual and commercial matters for multiple construction projects
Review, administer, and advise on main contracts and sub-contracts
Lead and guide QS and project teams on contract interpretation and compliance
Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation and claims strategies
Handle Extension of Time (EOT), variation, and loss & expense claims
Draft, review, and manage contractual correspondence and formal notices
Liaise with clients, consultants, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders
Support tender and post-contract stages with contractual and commercial advice
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, contract terms, and company policies
Maintain proper contract documentation and records
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 8–12 years relevant construction experience, preferably with main contractor
Strong working knowledge of SIA / REDAS / PSSCOC contracts
Proven experience in claims management, dispute resolution, and contract administration
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Good command of written and spoken English
Detail-oriented with strong commercial and risk management mindset
