A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and manage procurement and contract processes. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, providing cost estimates, and overseeing project budgets and claims. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience, alongside strong communication and negotiation skills.
Lead/manage a team of Quantity Surveyors in the administration and review of procurement and contract management
Review contract documents and provide cost estimates on tenders
Prepare and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
Oversee and manage main contract progress claim and subcontract payment including variation claim
Resolve contract disputes and contract claims, assessing entitlement for extension of time and loss / expense claim
Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondences and documentations
Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
Ensure timely finalization of main and subcontract
Diploma / Degree holder in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or other related field
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, as well as keen interest and motivation in a high growth and entrepreneur environment
Able to independently lead/manage large scale projects
