Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a skilled lab engineer for a biopharmaceutical manufacturing role. You will plan and execute small-scale lab experiments while leading process investigations. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant field and at least 4 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, with hands-on skills in upstream small-scale bioreactors. A competitive salary of up to 7000 SGD is offered.

Job description

Office Hours (8am–4.30pm) – Up to 7000 – Location: Kranji

Job Scope

• Plan & execute small-scale lab experiments (upstream focus)
• Lead process investigations / improvement studies
• Troubleshoot small-scale runs & equipment issues
• Support & guide junior engineers
• Analyse data, review reports & maintain documentation (GMP/Quality standards)
• Maintain/calibrate lab equipment
• Support new tech / new equipment implementation
• Work with cross-functional teams (Pharm Sci / GMSci etc.)

Requirement

• Min. Degree in Biochem / Chem Eng / Biotech / Biochemical Eng
• Min 4 yrs Biopharmaceutical manufacturing lab experience
• Have upstream + small-scale bioreactor hands-on experience
• Has prior experience in Biopharma R&D / Process Development / Process Sciences
• Strong experience in cell culture, DOE, scale-down models, lab troubleshooting
• Solid communication & stakeholder management skills
