Job description

Contemporary Dance Instructor who can integrate contemporary dance techniqueswith Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) to elevate the artistic expression, movement quality, and performance capabilities of our gymnasts. This role supports BPA’s mission to nurture disciplined, holistic, and artistically inspired athletes.

Dance Instruction & Choreography

• Conduct contemporary dance classes tailored to rhythmic gymnasts of varying levels(beginner–advanced).
• Design lesson plans that enhance musicality, coordination, body awareness,flexibility, and expressive movement.
• Develop choreography that supports RG routine requirements, enhancing artistry, flow,transitions, and performance quality.
• Integrate contemporary dance foundations (e.g., release technique, floor work,improvisation, dynamics) to complement RG training.

RG–Dance Integration

• Collaborate closely with RG coaches to align dance training with technical and routineneeds.
• Incorporate movement styles and dance elements that improve execution, extension, presence, and fluidity in RG routines.
• Provide artistic coaching for competition routines, enhancing performance expression,musical interpretation, and storytelling.

Student Development

• Guide students to build confidence, stage presence, and artistic identity.
• Offer individual corrections and feedback to improve body lines, posture, movementquality, and emotional expression.
• Ensure a positive and motivating environment while maintaining discipline aligned withBPA values.

Program Contribution

• Support the academy’s artistic direction through creative input for events, showcases,and competitions.
• Participate in routine selection discussions, including music, movement dynamics, andchoreography structure.
• Contribute to cross-training strategies that enrich athletic performance and reduce injuryrisks.
